• The Society for Promotion of Culture and Education started a business school for imparting management training for students. The three-year management degree (BBA) is awarded in collaboration with the University of Kashmir.
• DPS Budgam was upgraded from a primary school to high school and currently operates classes up to 12^th
• A team from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) visited DPS Budgam to review the fulfillment of conditions for affiliation with CBSE. The team was satisfied with DPS Budgam’s progress and CBSE affiliation was granted in 2011.
• A second computer lab with 100 computers was established and steps have been taken to ensure full internet connectivity in the school campus this year.
• A transport yard for DPS Budgam was created in 2012.
• Another transport yard for DPS Budgam was created in 2020.
• A new building for senior students is being constructed in the DPS Budgam Campus. The construction was completed in the year 2013.
• Indoor Sports Complex with swimming pool is under construction
